about

Frankie is a trail running coach and the founder of Path to Play, a community-driven initiative based in Vancouver that invites people to experience the outdoors through connection, curiosity, and play. With a background in yoga, movement education, and athletics, Frankie brings a holistic, mindful approach to trail running that emphasizes awareness over achievement and presence over performance.

A certified yoga teacher since 2015, Frankie has led international retreats, taught accessible, strength-based Vinyasa classes, and supported diverse students through injury prevention and mobility work. Her own movement journey began in competitive sports and was shaped by years of managing joint injuries. She found healing through yoga—rediscovering strength, presence, and joy in her body. Since moving to Vancouver in 2021, Frankie has immersed herself in the backcountry, finding a new kind of connection through hiking and trail running. That experience deepened her belief that movement should be inclusive, pressure-free, and grounded in how we feel—not how we look or perform.

Path to Play was born out of a desire to reimagine fitness spaces: not as places to perform or prove, but as pathways to joy, embodiment, and community. Frankie’s coaching focuses on meeting people where they are—step by step—and encouraging them to explore trails with curiosity, confidence, and a sense of play.
