Charissa combines her Bachelor's degree in Kinesiology with her personal experience in powerlifting, volleyball, soccer, long-distance triathlons, and Muay Thai to her 6 years of coaching. Specializing in strength & conditioning and multisport training in both group and 1:1 settings, she has worked with clients of all ages and abilities, including those with Parkinson's Disease and cognitively diverse youth. Having navigated her own challenges with PTSD, post-concussion syndrome, and anorexia nervosa, Charissa's approach focuses on fostering a sustainable relationship with movement and celebrating the incredible things our bodies are capable of. Inspired by her journey, she encourages clients to blend challenge with play. Charissa's goal is for every individual to approach their fitness journey with curiosity and leave with the excitement of having embraced new feats—no matter their size.
